Since 2002, we have hosted an annual luncheon where we provide an update on the firm and bring in a speaker from our investment management partners. This event provides our clients and guests an opportunity to hear what some of the industry experts think about capturing reasonable investment returns and the current state of the economy and capital markets.
For 2020, we have decided to host this event virtually in a webinar format and entertain the idea of an in-person luncheon in the spring - provided everyone feels comfortable gathering as a group at that time.
We have lined up a great speaker for our virtual event on Thursday, October 8th at 5:15pm EST,
Scott Orr, CFA, Vice President, Government Relations and Public Affairs, Fidelity Investments,
who will give insights on the November election and what it could mean for investors - including possible impacts on taxes, federal spending, stock buybacks, tech, regulation, trade, and retirement. Scott and Jeff will also save time at the end of the presentation for a Q&A session.
While we will really miss seeing all of you and meeting your friends as it is one of the highlights of our year, we hope you'll join us online for this virtual event!
