I’m proud and excited to announce a new addition to the team at Fourth Point Wealth. In life, and especially in our industry, character counts. Finding the right people can be a difficult process but, with the right approach, you occasionally find those diamonds in the rough and we think we found one in Chase Forrest
Last month Chase joined the team at Fourth Point Wealth as an Associate. Despite the challenges of remote work due to Coronavirus while training and onboarding, Chase has been an excellent addition. He’s smart, creative and, if his parents are listening, is a humble, high character person that I’m excited to have around our clients and team.
Chase is from Santa Barbara originally and grew up in Orange County. He was a standout athlete and leader at Mater Dei high school and went on to join the UC Berkeley football team as a quarterback. Most that know me know that I’m a proud Cal alum and diehard fan of the Golden Bears football program. Cal has a unique award in honor of Joe Roth, a former star player and leader who died of cancer shortly before the NFL draft (here’s a link to the 2014 documentary). We kept an empty locker for Joe during my time at Cal as well. Each year, the Joe Roth award is earned by the player who most demonstrates courage, attitude and leadership. In 2018, Chase was selected by his teammates as a team Captain and earned the honor of the Joe Roth Award.
Cal’s head coach, Justin Wilcox sent me a note when Chase joined us.
"Chase is going to be very successful in his professional career and a tremendous asset to any organization that is fortunate enough to have him. He was known to be a very humble, hard-working and well-respected member of our team. Chase is a well-rounded person and it was a pleasure to spend a couple of football seasons with him at Cal."
Throughout school, Chase was a mentor through Cal’s youth camps and after school went on to management training program with the Indiana Pacers. Now, back home and setting down roots, we find ourselves lucky to bring him on board. Chase is young, learning and eager to make a difference in our clients’ lives.
He’ll be helping us with our planning efforts for clients as we push the team to be the best. Keep your eyes out for Chase to join us in meetings, calls and messages along the way!
Welcome Chase!
