Happy Holidays! In keeping with one of the treasured traditions of this time of year, Prosperity Wealth Planning would like to share with you, our amazing clients, what we’ve been up to in 2024. It’s been another busy, productive year!
The firm grew by two! Ava Pompay, Financial Planning Analyst, and Jordan Bromley, CFP®, Associate Financial Planner, were added to the team and are already making a tremendous impact on all facets of the business. So happy to have them!
Speaking of growth, in 2024, we continued to expand our client portfolio by adding thirteen new households – mainly through your thoughtful referrals. As a result, we are managing nearly $222 million in assets as of December 9th, a 28% increase from 2023 year-end. Our firm is strong, with 25% average annual growth over the past five years. We are incredibly grateful that so many of our clients continue to show their trust in us by recommending our team to your co-workers, friends, and family members.
In April of this year, we celebrated our five-year anniversary. The time has flown by, and we are still just as fond of the work we do, along with the impact we make on those we care about, as we have ever been.
Through your generosity and giving spirit, we were able to establish four new Donor Advised Fund (DAF) accounts for our families this year, bringing our total up to eight.
Prosperity Wealth Planning also facilitated twenty Roth conversions during the year, helping clients set aside funds for tax-free growth in excess of $1,300,000!
We were able to meet with virtually every client at least once during the year. We conducted 184 Prosperity Planning Sessions (PPS), 40 Investment Reviews/Financial Planning Sessions (IR/FP), and 31 Tax Planning Sessions (TPS). Phew! We were busy!
2024 was also a year of transition and milestones for many of our clients. We helped 15 individuals navigate their pathway to retirement. Many were able to take advantage of Toyota’s voluntary exit package to start a new chapter. We were happy to be there to help at every turn and provide peace of mind for the road ahead. This year also brought academic achievements to celebrate, with 4 college graduates among our clients' families—a true testament to perseverance and success!
We also assisted those clients who have reached that age where they need to make their RMD (Required Minimum Distributions). We ended up processing 61 distributions totaling over $780,000!
In June, we introduced Redtail Speak, a feature that allows us to communicate with clients via text for added convenience. Since launching, 217 clients have already registered! Sign up today for a quick, simple, and efficient way to stay in touch with us.
We found a new place to call home in June. Our new offices have been instrumental in furthering the development of the Prosperity Wealth Planning culture by providing the opportunity for our team to meet face-to-face each week. The facility is truly amazing, and we are excited to host more in-person meetings here, in Long Beach, or during our visits to Plano.
- The first-ever Prosperity Wealth Planning Summer Photo Contest turned out to be a showcase for some very talented photographers. It was a great opportunity for us to see some beautiful scenery and to see how and where our clients spend their vacations.
Supercharge Your Finances transitioned from a series of video webinars to a podcast. The new podcast format provided us the opportunity to address current trends in the market and offer advice in a more compact presentation each month.
The Prosperity Wealth Planning website underwent a significant revision to provide more information in an easier-to-read format.
It was lovely to see so many of our friends at our Client Appreciation Events held over the past twelve months. The wine tasting in Irvine, CA in April, the get-together in Plano, TX, in June, and the gathering in Manhattan Beach, CA, in October were all great fun.

News from the Prosperity Wealth Planning Team:
2024 was a year of transition for Carolanne as she laid her mom to rest and was able to spend a little more time traveling with her sisters and exploring the great outdoors. Carolanne thinks about her mom all the time, and is comforted with the thought that she is celebrating and cheering for her through this next chapter of life.
This year, Jordan spent oodles of time bouncing between his three brothers’ homes visiting his nine nieces and nephews, cementing his role as “funcle”— a role which has him serving as part-time gift bringer and part-time human jungle gym. When he returned home, his best girl Winnie was always there to greet him.
For Jenny, 2024 was a year of family and memorable adventures. Among the highlights were a cozy getaway with her husband to Big Bear and her recent, incredible trip through Switzerland and Spain with her mom.
2024 was an eventful year for Ava. She celebrated her graduation in May and began preparing for the CFP exam. She also moved into a new apartment and welcomed another cat into the family. Amid the busyness, she found time to unwind with a memorable trip to Washington.
2024 was a year of new adventure and loss for Harry. He took full advantage of having a daughter in college in Paris and had a wonderful time visiting Elaina in March. Cooper continues to split his time between school and working on the tuna boats out of San Diego. He’s quickly approaching his captain’s license. During Harry’s year of fun and adventure, his family experienced sadness and loss as his mom passed away at age of 82. They think about her and miss her every day.
Steve’s first grandchild, Ellis, came into the world in August. He has rightfully claimed his place as the center of the universe and is already growing up way too fast. Steve was also able to get out into the world as well, with a trip to Ireland and the UK in October that exceeded all his expectations. Golf and time with family filled the rest of his year, when he wasn’t working with the best team in the financial planning business. |
Happy Holidays from all of us at Prosperity Wealth Planning! We are so grateful for the trust and collaboration you’ve demonstrated this year—it’s been a pleasure supporting your financial journey. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited for all that the new year promises and the opportunities to help you move closer towards achieving your goals and dreams. Cheers to a joyful holiday season and a prosperous new year!
